Ruizhe Zhang received his BS in Computer Science from Fudan University, and he is currently a PhD student in the Computer Science Department at the University of Texas at Austin. He interned at Zapata Computing Inc. during Summer 2021 and Summer 2022. His research interests include classical and quantum complexity theory, quantum algorithms, optimization, and deep learning theory.
I got interested in quantum computing by taking Scott Aaronson’s Quantum and Classical Complexity Theory course. I felt that there are so many fascinating open problems in this area.
