Jeff Greene graduated from Transylvania University in Lexington, Kentucky (his hometown) in 1978 with a degree in Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science. He then spent three years at Oxford University on a Rhodes Scholarship, studying law. Jeff received a U.S. law degree from Vanderbilt University School of Law in 1984 and engaged in the private practice of law in Nashville after graduation until joining Zapata January 1, 2019.  He has two children and two granddaughters.

Question & Answer

Why have you chosen a career in quantum?

The subject matter of quantum is fascinating and very energizing after three decades of practice in more traditional areas.  Also, the team is incredibly smart and fun to be around.

What are a few of your favorite things?

I love the outdoors and used to kayak when the sport was young.  I paddled the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon in 1976. More recently, my wife Kat and I have been on photo safaris in South Africa and then Rwanda.
